I kept a “marketing” notebook without knowing that’s what I was doing. I redrew logos from things around the house, storyboarded commercials frame by frame, wrote scripts, and made up jingles. I even wrote a “giddy-up vs. giddy-nope” list for the kitchen spray 409 that listed ideas that felt 409-clean versus the ones that didn’t (based on its’ old jingle “Giddyup 409").

I fell hard for theatre in my teens, and over that next decade into my twenties would do national tours, regional shows, and land a Broadway callback. As my theatre career went on, I remember caring less about the high note and more about the house—what angles would put butts in seats, what story would sell, and whether a unionized celebrity’s brand would anchor the run. I took a break from performing and started studying marketing and social media immediately.

Back in my hometown, I went door to door and asked small businesses if they wanted help with their socials. That became my first client roster. I managed accounts for authors, therapists, naturopaths, public figures, real estate brokers, and more on a national scale. I made it official in 2020 by creating SAYQUOI® and naming what I really do: consulting and strategy.

Today I still work like the kid with the notebook: curious, hands-on, and obsessed with storytelling, with humanity, and with how ideas land. I pair story with behavioral psychology so your work is simple to understand and easier to choose. The aim is real impact, achieved in a way you can sustain.
